Why not enjoy the beautiful nature Värmland has to offer from a new perspective… From the back of a 950 kg 1,87m horse. Riding a shire horse or a clydesdale is a very special experience. The world seems just a bit smaller from way up there. Let Sunshine, Sieske or Freya show you around our forrest trails and lakeside fields.

And what better way to cool down after a long ride than by taking a dip in our pool. It is right beside your stuga, approximatly 8 km long and the watertemperature is just perfect.

The summer is not even halfway over and we still have some dates available.

We would like to offer you the chance to explore the woods of Värmland on your own horse. Stay in our Stuga while your horse is right outside your door enjoying the fresh grass of our fields. Ride out into the forrest when you want, as often as you want. If you would like, we will join you on the trail to show you the best views and must see sceneries. Enjoy the warmth of the campfire after a day of fun with your equistrian friend in the forrest

Dammbråten Hästgård has enough fields to accomadate larger groups as well. Spend the night as a stop on a longer trailride without the hassle of loading up and driving after a riding all day.

Welcome to the website of Dammbråten Hästgård!

Dammbråten is the name of our house and surrounding land in Torsby kommun in Värmland, Sweden. Dating back from before houses had numbers and streets had names. Close enough to the town of Torsby to enjoy all its amenities and far enough away not to be bothered by the “big city life”. Placed in the center of a small valley, on the south end of a lake and the river that flows from that lake. Locked in between the enormous woodlands of Värmland, it is our little piece of paradise.
